Sales has been at the heart of my career for the past 30 years. Early on I realised that understanding customers needs and clearly presenting your product or service were essential to sales success, so I achieved certification with the Chartered Institute of Marketing. I progressed in my sales career from Sales Executive with BMW and Volvo brands to Sales Management with Jaguar and then on to Head of Business roles with Jaguar, Skoda, BMW and MINI.

Over the years I have met many people who either have a fear of sales, are sceptical of sales or simply want to understand more about sales. Therefore, I started Ethical Sales Pro to share my skills, insight and practical applications with people and businesses who want to take an ethical and professional approach to sales.

My achievements

My achievements include National Sales Dealer of the Year with Jaguar. Most Improved Retailer of the Year with Skoda and Retailer Group of the Year with Jaguar Land Rover. Outside of this my businesses have operated in the top quartile of their respective brands for Sales and Customer Service. I am a Level 5 qualified coach and mentor and Associate Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management, so increasing my ability to develop and release the potential within others.

My sales & management success

My sales and management success are built around two guiding principles; honesty and integrity. For me honesty is the only policy and means being truthful with customers and stakeholders in all your communication with them. Integrity is more than doing what you have promised to do, it’s also about doing the right thing when no one else is watching. Combining both values has a powerful effect in building trust and respect, while informing my practice and motivating me to genuinely treat customers fairly.
